When I went home last summer, I was in the mood to sew and this is a project I did with my brothers girlfirend, Alex. Did you see the one I did with my mom? You can find it HERE.
So EASY!
You are going to take a Tshirt and cut the sleeves off at the seams. Now you can grab a racer back tank or just eye ball it and cut in on the back.
So EASY!
You are going to take a Tshirt and cut the sleeves off at the seams. Now you can grab a racer back tank or just eye ball it and cut in on the back.
Next you will cut right at the seams of the shoulders.
(excuse the drawings in paint.)
Hope these drawings help... I thought I took pictures as we made this, but I can't find them.
The red circles are around the shoulder seams.
Now twist the back of the shirt a few times (you will want the to make sure when twisting that the front of the shirt is showing on the outside) and then pin the shoulders back to each other and sew it back together.
Try your shirt on and see how it fits, make any adjustments you feel it needs. With Alex's we put a slit in the front. Enjoy your new tank!
xoxo
