Hello everyone! I am Heather and I blog over at Heatherly Loves. I am so delighted to be here today at The Sasse Life, to join in on Sunday Social, I love meeting new bloggers :)

I am a busy gal... I can't stand not having something going on. I love to craft and sew. I am not the best cook, but I do share my favorite recipes when I get the chance. I am also a Consultant for Perfectly Posh, and have a full time job. I also travel with my boyfriend Andrew. He is an model airplane pilot and has accomplished so much in the last 9 years that we have been together. I am actually headed to Tuscon, AZ this coming Tuesday for a BIG contest! Here are 5 silly facts:

1. I am NOT a t-shirt and jeans girl, I AM a t-shirt and sweatpants girl.

2. I love a Fluff a Nutter sandwich, usually great at 10pm for my bedtime snack.

3. Love getting manis and pedis.

4.I cannot say Breakfast.... I say Breakfrast. I have my whole life and I have TRIED to not add the "r"

5. I record Roseanne just so I can watch it to fall asleep. LOVE Roseanne.

HAPPY Saturday Everyone! I just wanted to share with you all that I will not be active on my blog for a little while.

1. I am off to Tuscon, AZ on Tuesday, its the last contest for the year. 

2. When I get back I have Halloween activities at work and I want to dedicate my time to home and work. 

I will be back! Promise....

Pumpkin Spice Whoopie Pies

I absolutely love Whoopie Pies... This past Christmas, Andrew's mom got me a Whoopie Pie pan. LOVE IT! highly recommend getting one. It is a Wilton and you can find them just about anywhere,

Girls WEEKEND

Last Friday, I had a girls night with some friends and we went crafting. The other "Heather" told me about this craft thing {about a month ago} and of course I was in! I love to craft especially when you don't need to bring anything. It was all provided, just let them know what you want to make and you pay in advance and show up and get your craft on. It was a lot of fun! 

Below you will find what I made that night.

This needs a wall all to it's own. Didn't realize how big it was really going to be.

I found this idea over at Pitter & Glink, Dollar Store Pumpkin Light. She has a great tutorial. I have typed up some quick directions on how I made mine and took some pictures. Below you will see a picture of hers.

Quick Tip ::How to cook Corn on the Cob::

So today I want to share a Quick Tip of my families. WE LOVE CORN, and corn on the cob is just a favorite of mine. The corn out here in Utah just isn't the same as back home. Which I miss terribly.. Did you know if you boil your corn you are loosing all the yummy flavors? Well you don't need to cook your corn that long and this is what we do!

Take you corn and leave it in the husk.
